Remembering Bradford - a commemorative exhibition
In researching this project our students gathered a valuable resource to share with others interested in WWII, which you can see in each of the exhibition panels.
They heard fascinating testimony about topics including air raids, Anderson shelters, bereavement, bombs, clothing coupons, cinema, evacuation, gasmasks, German prisoners of war, hunger, the wireless and much more. Even more significantly they heard about the emotional consequences of living through the war, which touched them greatly.
