Steven Appleby Visit
The Yorkshire Craft Centre's Bradford Gallery was packed with arts and media students on 13th November, eager to learn about the life and work of one of the Animation Festival’s special guests, Steven Appleby.
Steven was introduced by Ben Eagle, former Bradford College student who is now Producer of BAF’08, describing him as “Cartoonist, illustrator and author, extremely well respected in the industry.”
In an exceptionally entertaining presentation, Steven interspersed anecdotes and observations with diverse examples of his work from unpublished early sketchbooks to his varied work in print plus clips from radio,TV film and stage productions, allowing insights into his extraordinary world.
