Ben revealed, “I got the idea from playing with my own cat. I wanted a different take on Christmas that didn’t include anything predictable like snowmen. The computer where I animate is in my bedroom and I kept stopping work on my ideas because my cat kept interrupting me, wanting to play all the time.
Then I thought of how my Mum always gets annoyed when the cat brings in mice and birds and I try to make excuses saying they are meant to be presents!
I had some of my work on the showreel playing on the Bradford College stand in the foyer at BAF’08 last year, so to have it shown in Pictureville on the opening night of the Festival is a big step up.”
