Summer Show 2010 highlights - National Diploma in Photography

Photography by Adam TaylorCourse Tutor, Suzanne Griffiths explained, “For their final major project the students had to research, develop and photograph their interpretation of the quotation from Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night – ‘If music be the food of love, play on.’

This was one of the most successful projects given, since all the students had their own music style and this was brought to life in the final pictures on the wall. Alongside this, the students had to produce a movie with music to show why the images represented their chosen style and this was played on the computers on the opening night of the show, to great acclaim.”

I am very proud of the students and their dedication. I believe that wherever they progress to in the future, they will be successful if they apply themselves as well as they have done in this project.

I am delighted that all but two of this class will be staying in Bradford College to do the degree in Photography; one student will be going to Newport College and one is going straight into work. I wish them all every success. The images shown are an overview of what they produced for their show which also includes some self portraits.”
