Course Overview

If you wish to have a career in either in-house or self-employed conveyancing, this comprehensive course is ideal and will give you the opportunity to qualify as a Licensed Conveyancer. If you have previously studied Law (eg LLB), you can apply to the CLC for exemption from some modules (eg Contract Law, Land Law, Landlord and Tenant Law). Your course is in two parts - the Foundation includes three modules and two exams, and the Final involves you taking a further module and three exams.

Course Structure

Modular structure delivered over two years. The course has two parts. The Foundation stage and the Finals stage.

We do not offer the Accountancy and bookkeeping paper.

On the whole, by examinations. There is some assignment work at the Foundation level.

Working within the field of conveyancing with a view to self employment as a licensed conveyancer.

Entry Requirements

You will need four GCSEs at Grade C or above including English, English Language or English Literature.
In addition to applying to the College, you must register with the CLC.
If you are over 18 and work in the office of a licenced conveyancer or solicitor, you may be accepted as a `practicing student` without the above qualifications.
Mature students aged 25+ may make an application to be considered on its own merits.

Course Fees

£850.00 per standard year.

This course is not eligible for any fee reduction.

* We boasted an overall student satisfaction rate of 90%, which is well above that of Law students studying at Universities in the region
