

This course will increase your knowledge and provide you with an excellent grounding in British nationality, immigration law and political asylum.
This is a single Module course.

ILEX students are integrated into a class with LLB undergraduate students. This works successfully because it enables a sharing of views across a large and diverse student population and the two courses have an identical content . There are some additional focused examination classes for ILEX students alone which are in preparation for and lead up to the examination.
Lectures, seminars, tasks and directed reading.
Assessment is by examination.
On successful completion of the course, many students stay with the College to study on the part time law degree. Others work within the field of immigration law either with legal firms or advice agencies.
Standard entry requirements are: successful completion of ILEX level 3 or A levels. If you do not meet the standard entry requirements, you may be offered an interview to assess whether you are capable of completing and benefiting from the course.
