Bradford College has a long history of providing legal education which stems from delivery of A level law through to the Foundation Degree in Law and Legal Practice, delivered for the first time in 2008/9, and established degree programmes, as well as delivering law in other areas such as ILEX (Institute for Legal Executives), and CLC (Council for Licensed Conveyancers) courses.

This unique programme combines a vocationally-focused marketing curriculum with an academically challenging course in Law. We also include fundamental business skills in the programme. Our aim is to allow you to develop a specialist range of skills to take into the consumer-orientated business environment where you need to have a sound knowledge of more than one managerial discipline.
This Honours degree programme is made up of six semesters taken over three years of full-time study. During the three years, you will study many absorbing aspects of Marketing and Legal Studies.
Modules include: Consumer Behaviour, International Marketing, Marketing Communications, Marketing Management, Marketing Strategy, Retail Marketing, Marketing Information Systems.
Legal Studies will include a range of commercially-oriented modules including: English Legal Process, Contract Law, Law of Tort, Consumer Law, Commercial Law, European law, Company Law and Administration.
Our aim is to involve you in your own learning development and help you to gain marketing and legal skills which you can use in your career after graduation.
A wide range of learning methods are used, including lectures, seminars, workshops, simulation packages and visits.
The programme uses a variety of challenging assessment methods including in-course assignments, dissertation and examinations.
The option of supervised work experience in the second semester of the second year will provide you with a great opportunity to link College-based learning and the real business world. You will be placed in a suitable marketing or legal environment negotiated between the College, yourself and the employer.
The programme will prepare you for brand, product and marketing management posts in all areas of industry, commerce, services and the public sector. We have given the programme a strong legal context appropriate to the marketing environment and through further training, professional legal qualifications can be gained.
