Course Structure

The course is made up of Mandatory Units:
Understanding the Media
Research Techniques
Media Skills Workshop
Production Management.

The compulsory Specialist Units are:
Professional Brief
Digital Graphics
Games Platforms and Technologies.

You can also choose  five additional Units from a wide choice including:
3D Modelling
3D Animation
3D Environments
Games Engines
Games Design
Flash for Computer Games.

Entry Requirements

You should normally have at least one of the following:
a BTEC First Certificate or Diploma in a related subject, an Intermediate GNVQ in a related subject at Merit level or at least four GCSEs at Grade A*-C including English or appropriate work experience.

By completing projects and assignments that are based on realistic workplace situations, activities and demands.
