How to Apply For a Further Education Course

It is important when choosing a College course that you have access to good information, helpful advice and professional guidance to ensure you choose the right course for your chosen goals. You also need to know about the costs of studying and if you are entitled to any financial help, especially if you are unemployed or on a low income. If you are coming back to College after a short or even long break from education, we can help to ensure you start on the right programme and the right level for you.

The easiest way of applying is via our website or you can complete the paper application form at the back of our Further Education Prospectus. Read through the prospectus carefully - take advice from parents, schools and advisors.

You can choose up to three courses and you will be given the opportunity to see staff from each of your choices.  We will interview you in the order that you choose on your application form.  You will need to fill in every section of the application form, which can be found attached to the inside back cover of the Further Education Prospectus, ensure you sign the back page of the form.  You must get the reference before you send in your application form.  For most of our courses we do need a reference before interview.  If applying online please give the name and address of your referee.
