Honours Degree from a UK Institution which is a 2:2 or above.
For the Primary programme we accept a wide range of degree subjects.
For the Secondary programme your degree should be a minimum of 50% of the subject you wish to teach. We also offer Enhancement courses for applicants who don't have the required subject knowledge in Chemistry Maths and Physics.
GCSEs at grade C or above in English Language and Maths, or an equivalent qualification such as Level 3 Adult Literacy and Numeracy or Level 3 Key Skills in Communication or Application of Number.
(Level 2 qualifications are not considered to have the breadth of knowledge for Teacher Training)
GCSE at grade C or above in Science, but only for Primary programme.

A satisfactory GTC (General Teaching Council) check, CRB (Criminal Records Bureau) check and College Health questionnaire is also required prior to enrolment onto the relevant PGCE course.
For the Primary programme, evidence of school experience in a Primary school will also be required at least four weeks minimum.
For the Secondary programme, evidence of experience in a Secondary school will also be required at least two weeks minimum.
