Exciting exhibition of creative photography for sale in aid of Marie Curie.
Capture the Moment is the exciting new photographic exhibition organised by HND Photography students at Bradford College. They have teamed up with Marie Curie to promote and raise funds for this worthwhile charity while showcasing their visually stunning work.
This is your chance to purchase a unique and affordable piece of art and support your local hospice. Approximately one in five of us will be affected by cancer. Marie Curie relies mainly on public donations in order to be able to function. They employ 2700 nurses, doctors and other health care professionals. Each year Marie Curie support approximately 25 thousand terminally ill cancer sufferers and their families each year. It costs around £8000 per day to keep the Marie Curie Centre in Bradford open.
Chair of the College Corporation, Richard Wightman, is formally opening the exhibition on the preview evening of Tuesday 23rd February 2010 at 5pm. Deputy Lord Mayor, Councillor Naveeda Ikram and her son, Silham Shahzad, will be in attendance. Refreshments will be served on the evening of the preview.
