West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network (WYLLN)

Bradford College has been working in partnership with West Yorkshire Lifelong Learning Network (WYLLN) to develop a series of Degrees in Casting, Packaging and Powders. 

These educational programmes respond to the needs of the sector, following a shortage of younger, skilled technicians in these specialist areas.  Assisting the industry to remain competitive and thrive, as a higher qualification is required to help educate and develop the next generation of industry leaders.

Both organisations have benefited from the collaboration, exchanging ideas and expertise from multi-professional perspectives.  There are now plans in the pipeline to develop eLearning material for (WYLLN) – helping to identify and develop future skills and training solutions.

The partnership has proved so successful Bradford College has now been approached to forge links with North West Lifelong Learning (NYLLN) to develop qualifications in Advanced Engineering, Materials and Textiles.
