The Multi Box Project
Contemporary Printmaking in Britain
The Multi Box Project brings together the work of a group of artists who formed the original committee members and collaborators of the Multi organisation.
Multi is interested in the contemporary practice of printmaking, the blurring of the boundaries between traditional printmaking methods and the digital production of Multiples, that is, printed images produced in series.
This collaboration, curated by Manya Donaque, Colin Lloyd and Barbara Greene, presents a boxed portfolio of work, with one piece from each of the sixteen members, to celebrate Multi’s first year. It demonstrates the wide range of interests both in subject matter and overlapping artform used by Multi members.
The Multi Box Project runs concurrently with the Blink exhibition in the Gallery , from 20th April to 15th May 2009. Gallery open from Monday to Friday, 10.30 am to 4.00pm.
