Love Art '09
Valentines tend to divide people into romantics and cynics. But whatever your perspective, if you love art, you will find something to make your heart skip a beat in Love Art ’09, the delightful exhibition of work by our first and second year BA (Hons) Fine Art and BA (Hons) Art & Design students.
Lecturer, Manya Donaque, explained “The students have offered a criticism of consumerism or a celebration of what they loved. They have created pictures and cards using different media, including digital, drawings, silk screen printing embroidered etc and also curated the exhibition. The majority of work is for sale at very reasonable prices.”
Proving that love is all around us, the exhibition is split between 2 venues – the Yorkshire Craft Centre reception and café bar (open 9 am until 4.30pm, Monday to Friday) and the Love Apple Café Bar, 34 Great Horton Road, BD7 1AL (open every day and evening).

Work is on display from Monday 2nd to Friday 27th February, so there is plenty of time to pick up a piece of art you will love forever!
