The Bradford Grid is an ongoing photographic survey of Bradford using sections of the map to direct a core group of photographers to explore aspects of the local culture and topography. The photographers, who either live or work in Bradford, are encouraged to be responsive to what they find and are free to choose any process which best helps to express their ideas. The project has so far been running for 6 years and a substantial archive of images has been built up collectively. This exhibition explores recent themes which have emerged from work made during the previous year.

The exhibition runs at  The Bradford Gallery, Yorkshire Craft Centre from 12th September to 4th October (Gallery open from Monday to Saturday 10am until 4pm).

It forms part of Ways of Looking; photography and new media with exhibitions at 3 venues in Bradford :

Composure at the Impressions Gallery
Bradford Grid New Work 2008 at The Bradford Gallery, Yorkshire Craft Centre
New Works; Pavillion Commissions 2008 at the National Media Museum
