Bradford Young Creative Design Awards 2012
Our annual search for young design talent is underway again with a special theme to celebrate HM The Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
To mark 60 years of HM The Queen’s reign, the Diamond Jubilee will take place in 2012. The celebrations will centre on the extended weekend 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th June 2012. As part of the celebrations, Bradford College invites students from years 9 & 10 to respond to the Diamond Jubilee by entering our annual design competition.
Schools will be notified of prize winners by Friday 11th May. A prize giving will be held on Wednesday 13th June at 11.30 am in Lister Building followed by a light lunch for pupils and teachers.

Fashion DesignDesign a gown for HM Queen Elisabeth II to wear at a banquet to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
DrawingDraw or paint either a member of the royal family or one of their pets.
GraphicsDesign a poster to advertise a Diamond Jubilee Street Party.
Interior Design
Design an interior for an indoor party to celebrate the Diamond Jubilee.
Baking NEW
Create a recipe for a Diamond Jubilee cup cake or create a menu for the HM the Queen and guests to eat at a Diamond Jubilee Garden party. The menu should list all the courses and its layout should also be designed.
Prizes in each category:
1st prize Amazon Gift Certificate worth £50. The winning design in the Fashion Category will be reproduced and put on display.
2nd prize Amazon Gift Certificate worth £30
3rd prize Amazon Gift Certificate worth £20
