LGBT Awareness
We have a strong belief in supporting equality and diversity here at Bradford College. As a part of our continued support for this area our Staff Development Team has collaborated with the UK’s leading e-learning provider Virtual College to create the Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Trans Awareness module. Around 1,000 College staff have already engaged in the training, which is designed to raise awareness of LGBT issues and how they relate to a work and study environment.
By working closely with Virtual College’s Design and Development Team, the course has been created and integrated into the College Learning Management System (LMS). This enables easy and convenient access for any member of staff wishing to improve their understanding of this particular area. Future updates mean we can easily stay on top of legislation and provide the best training possible without disrupting our day to day working.
